Telehealth Programming

Many people face obstacles in their daily lives that keep them from accessing the behavioral health treatment they deserve. MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital is committed to breaking down those barriers. We provide telehealth services that offer you the flexibility to participate in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) from whatever location is most convenient for you.

About Our Telehealth Services

Telehealth is the use of technology to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers without them having to be in the same room.

At MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, we use telehealth to close the gap on patient access to quality behavioral healthcare. Our telehealth services allow you to communicate with us, complete an assessment, and participate in therapy without having to come to our facility.

We offer a telehealth option for adolescents, adults, and senior adults who participate in our partial hospitalization program (PHP). This highly structured outpatient program serves people who are struggling with a mental health concern and co-occurring substance use disorder.

To take part in our telehealth PHP, all you need is an internet connection and a camera-enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone. Teletherapy sessions take place through a videoconferencing service such as Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom.

Like all the services we provide at MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, we personalize the care you receive through our telehealth PHP to ensure that you continually make positive progress toward your recovery goals.

Benefits of Our Telehealth Services

The option to take part in our telehealth partial hospitalization program can be beneficial for a variety of reasons depending on your specific life circumstances.

Some people choose telehealth because they do not have access to reliable child care or transportation, making it challenging to attend therapy sessions in person. Others cannot change their work schedules or take time off from work to get the care they need.

Telehealth may also be the ideal option for those who live too far away to travel to our hospital or who have limited access to behavioral healthcare services in their area.

Whatever the reason you may be considering the telehealth services at MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, rest assured that this option is a safe, effective way to get the care you need for a mental health disorder and co-occurring addiction.

Our Telehealth PHP

At MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, our dedication to providing clinically excellent care remains the same whether you receive in-person care or teletherapy.

Our telehealth partial hospitalization program allows adolescents, adults, and senior adults to take part in therapy and communicate with their care team from whatever space feels the safest and most comfortable for them.

Before entering our telehealth PHP, you will complete a comprehensive assessment so that we can gain a better understanding of how living with a mental health concern that coexists with a substance use disorder is impacting you.

Our expert clinicians will create a personalized care plan based on the information they gather during this process, which you will follow throughout your time in our telehealth partial hospitalization program.

Like with our in-person partial hospitalization program, group therapy is foundational to the care we provide in our telehealth PHP. Your care team may recommend individual therapy if they determine that this intervention may be beneficial for your recovery. We also encourage our patients to participate in family sessions whenever appropriate.

If prescription medications are also a part of your care plan, you may meet virtually with a psychiatrist to discuss your medication needs.

Making the decision to get professional help for a mental health disorder and co-occurring substance use concern takes courage. Our telehealth services provide you with even more options when you’re ready to take that life-changing step.
