Psychiatric Inpatient Program for Adolescents
Adolescence can be a trying time in a person’s life. This stage of development can be ripe with pressure to fit in with peers and perform well academically, all the while experiencing a number of physiological changes that can also bring about stress. These aspects of being an adolescent can be troubling and even more emotionally taxing when a youth is battling the symptoms of a mental health condition, such as depression and anxiety, or substance abuse problem.
As a leading provider of mental health treatment, MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital is proud to offer beneficial treatment for the psychiatric issues that plague young people most. Our exemplary inpatient program for youth between the ages of 12 and 17 includes individualized treatment planning that is tailored to meet the needs of every young person who comes to us for care. Treatment plans, of which are initially formulated at the time of admission, detail every element of care implemented and goals that are worked towards while an adolescent receives care at MeadowWood.
Treatment takes place in a spacious, bright, and welcoming environment designed to elicit tranquility and true healing. Furthermore, various treatment methods and modalities are utilized within our adolescent inpatient program so as to ensure the most positive treatment outcomes.
